Using Roofmate

Acceptable use

Roofmate is a roommate matching platform for personal, non-commercial use. You must be 18 or older to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

• Use the platform only for legitimate roommate searches
• Provide truthful information in your profile
• Do not use the service for commercial solicitation
• You must be 18 years of age or older

Your account

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Roofmate uses Google OAuth for authentication. Do not share your account credentials.

• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access
• One account per person

Conduct

Prohibited behaviour

To keep Roofmate safe and useful for everyone, certain behaviour is prohibited.

• Harassment, threats, or abusive messages
• Creating fake or misleading profiles
• Scraping or bulk data collection
• Circumventing verification or safety features
• Any activity that violates applicable law

Liability

Limitation of liability

Roofmate provides a platform to connect potential roommates. We do not verify the accuracy of all profile information and are not responsible for the conduct of users. Use your own judgement and take precautions when meeting people in person.

Governing law

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from the use of Roofmate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
